Our first formal project project was successfully implemented in 2019, with a successful term, having fed and taught up to 300 children at a time.
We are currently partnered with the Community of Braelyn Extension. Our valued donors Mercedes-Benz South Africa and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation has helped us obtain and set up our first Mobile Centre in the township of Braelyn Ext 10.
We currently have between 150-300 children who we care for at any given time. We teach Cognitive development skills and provide meals to the children between ages birth to nine years. We also provide basic needs assistance to the women and children in the area. It has been a huge success thus far working with the community of Braelyn Ext 10, the community and Leadership have worked hand in hand with us on our project, teaching and leading the people into greatness.
Our aim as an Organization is not only to feed and clothe our members but we also aim to impart to them the importance of being on board with their own development. We are working to change the mindset or apathetic behavior as we work to change the narrative of generational poverty.
We are grateful for the support from the community and our different donors who support us so selflessly with the most basic of needs, a word of advice was all we needed on some days and someone provided.
In the next 3 years we would like to see our Organization add on mobile containers, so that we may establish a presence in the other areas we identify the need. This will allow those who we serve to have direct access to our services
